In an effort to increase consumer’s awareness of personal financial literacy, Wichita area credit unions are partnering with the Kansas Credit Union Association and the Consumer Credit Counseling Service to launch a consumer financial literacy campaign, Money Possible: Destroy Debt.
The campaign launched in March 2014, and follows credit union members on their way to financial success.
The campaign uses an integrated approach including:
weekly television segments on the KAKE-TV (ABC) 4 p.m. newscast;
0:15 “Tip of the Week” spots (available on YouTube);
updates posted on this blog;
a hashtag to follow on social media: #moneypossible
0:30 commercials featuring the value of credit unions as strong financial partners.
Money Possible: Destroy Debt is a learning experience for everyone, not just our participants. By watching the television segments and reading the posts on this blog, consumers who may be in the same financial situation as the participants, can learn tips along with them.
